Dr. Kumar Nagadev
MBBS, MRCP, DCH, MRCGP, Diploma in Allergy, AFHEA
Kumar qualified from Dr. MGR Medical University, India, in 1994 and has been a GP for over 20 years. He initially trained in hospital medicine, obtaining his MRCP and DCH, before transitioning to General Practice, where he gained his MRCGP in 2010.
After spending 10 years as a GP Principal, Kumar chose to become a Portfolio GP, balancing clinical work with teaching and minor surgery.
Kumar is experienced in all areas of general practice, with a particular focus on:
- Chronic disease management (Diabetes, Hypertension, Respiratory conditions)
- Minor surgery and Joint injections
- Dermatology (Skin conditions)
With a rich background in both hospital and primary care, Kumar has worked in various GP and hospital roles across Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, and beyond.
Personal Interests
Kumar is a keen cricketer and still plays village cricket when time allows. He also enjoys walking and yoga, advocating for a healthy lifestyle.
He is the founder of TVMC-UK, an alumni association that has been active for over 20 years, supporting charitable healthcare projects in underserved villages in India.
Kumar’s working day is Monday morning at Gillvray Health and he also works some Saturdays.
