Dr Fiona Cornish

MA, MB BChir, DRCOG, DCH, DFFP, FRCGP 

Fiona has been a GP Partner in a central Cambridge practice for many years, and is experienced in all aspects of general practice.

Background

Fiona has an interest in Women’s Health, paediatrics, care of the elderly and is very familiar with student health.

Fiona read Medicine at Trinity Hall, Cambridge and completed her training at St Thomas’s Hospital. She was on the Cambridge GP Vocational Training Scheme and has lived and worked in Cambridge since 1985.

FIona has been a GP Trainer, teacher of medical students and a GP Appraiser.

FIona was President of the Medical Women’s Federation from 2012-2014.

Fiona has been a Trustee of the Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust from 2014-2024.

Fiona’s working days are Wednesday afternoons at the Nuffield Hospital in Cambridge.
